Ear screening program details of Shree Baleshwori Secondary School

Lalitpur

 Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Ms. Smriti Shrestha, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Alina  Madhikarmi, Elina Maharjan. 

 Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 153
• Total number of students with normal findings: 88 (57.51%)
• Total number of students with wax: 55 (35.94%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 9 (5.888%)
• SNHL: 1 (0.65%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 3 (1.96%)
