Ear screening program details of Gupteswor Secondary School

Nallu, Lalitpur

 Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Belu Kayastha, Ms. Smriti Shrestha, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Alina  Madhikarmi, Ms. Rosy Bajracharya. 

 Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 97
• Total number of students with normal findings:53 (54.63%)
• Total number of students with wax: 39 (40.20%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 2 (2.06%)
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 1 (1.03%)
• SNHL: 2 (2.06%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 3 (3.09%)
