Ear screening program details of Navajyoti Secondary School

Jharuwarasi, Lalitpur

 Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Belu Kayastha, Ms. Smriti Shrestha, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Alina  Madhikarmi, Ms. Rosy Bajracharya. 

 Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 167
• Total number of students with normal findings: 104 (62.27%)
• Total number of students with wax: 57 (34.13%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 6 (3.5%)
• SNHL: 0
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 0
