Ear screening program details of Damaitar Basic School

Damaitar, Lalitpur

 Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Rajesh Maharjan, Ms. Smriti Shrestha, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms.Elina Maharjan & Ms. Rosy Bajracharya. 

 Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 65
• Total number of students with normal findings: 43 (66.15%)
• Total number of students with wax: 18 (27.69%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 4 (6.15%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 3 (4.16%)
