Ear screening program details of Shree Saraswoti Secondary School,

Thecho, Godawari, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Ms. Karina Giri.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 392
• Total number of students with normal findings: 229 (58.42%)
• Total number of students with wax: 129 (32.9%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 4 (1.03%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 30 (7.65%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 8 (2.04%)
